This privacy policy applies to Tundra Tours.no (hereafter referred to as “we”) and explains why we collect information about you, how we use this information, and how we safeguard your privacy.

a) When others perform services for us
E.g., web and marketing agencies to run our store, show targeted ads, or run campaigns. They may not use your data for other purposes.

If you consent to data sharing, information may be shared with:

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: User behavior is shared partially anonymized with Google. We cannot personally identify you but may use this to analyze usage patterns and serve tailored ads.

  • Facebook Messenger (chat): If we use this chat service, Facebook may identify you so you don't have to re-enter your name/email. Logs are stored in Facebook Messenger and can be deleted upon request.

  • Tawk.to (chat): Stores chat logs and your IP address. Logs can be deleted on request.

  • Facebook Pixel: Tracks your visit to our website so we can target ads via Facebook later.

  • Shopify: Our platform provider (Canada). Your order data is stored here. Contact us for access, correction, or deletion.

  • Contact forms: Messages sent via forms are stored in our email and possibly in a backup database temporarily.

b) In case of suspected criminal activity
Data may be disclosed to authorities upon request. We may also share data in suspected fraud cases or legal disputes.

7. Deletion of personal data
We are legally obligated to retain some data, such as:

  • Bookkeeping regulations

  • Order data due to the right of withdrawal

  • Order data for warranty purposes

You have the right to request deletion of all other data we hold, unless we are legally required to retain it. Contact us by email to terminate your customer relationship (see “Contact Information”).

8. Securing personal data
We implement appropriate security measures to protect data under our control against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal.

9. Marketing by Email and SMS
If you have an active customer relationship with us, we may send you marketing via email or other electronic means under Section 15 of the Marketing Act. This includes newsletters and other content, offers, and event info via email, phone, SMS, and social media.

If you do not have an active customer relationship, we will only send marketing if you have given us explicit consent. Your data may also be used to personalize such messages. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails/SMS.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update or change this privacy policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated.

12. Right to complain
You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Norway, this is the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
