About the Tour
Tundra Tours offers an exciting guided packrafting trip with an overnight stay in tents, taking you on an unforgettable adventure down calm rivers and through breathtaking nature. This is the perfect opportunity to experience a packrafting trip, where we spend the night in tents—or under the open sky for those feeling extra adventurous.
When you sign up for a Tundra Tours packrafting trip, you'll be provided with all the necessary equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. An experienced guide will accompany you throughout the journey, sharing their knowledge of the area. This allows you to relax and fully enjoy the adventure.
The tour begins with a thorough introduction to packrafting techniques and safety procedures. The guide will teach you how to paddle and steer the packraft and provide tips on handling any unexpected situations that may arise along the way. Your safety is always our top priority.
After the introduction, you’ll carry your gear to the water’s edge and set off on a fantastic paddling experience. Packrafting combines paddling and hiking, giving you the chance to explore both waterways and remote landscapes. The guide will lead you through calm lakes, gentle rivers, and possibly a few mild rapids depending on your skill level and terrain conditions.
Along the way, you'll be surrounded by incredible nature—dense forests and fairytale-like waterways. You might spot wildlife such as moose, roe deer, and a variety of bird species as you travel through this vibrant ecosystem.
After several hours of paddling, you’ll reach a suitable campsite for the night. The guide will assist with setting up tents and explain how you can help. You’ll have time to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Meals will be prepared on a portable stove or a campfire (depending on fire safety regulations).
Around the campfire, it’s the perfect opportunity to share stories and experiences with the guide and your fellow adventurers. Enjoy the magical silence of nature and the clear night sky.
The next morning, you’ll wake to the sound of birdsong and the magic of the wilderness. After packing up the tents and gear, it’s time to continue your packrafting journey—perhaps exploring new rivers or waterways and discovering even more of the incredible nature that surrounds us.
